CHESS PROGRAMS
SCHOOL DISTRICT CHESS MEET
The District Chess Meet is one of our signature grassroots initiatives, designed to bring school communities together through friendly, skill‑building competition.
We partner exclusively with willing school districts—welcoming students, staff, and PTA members to host an annual chess tournament exclusively for the District.
These meets are about learning, connection, and celebrating the game as a shared community experience.
THE GOOD BISHOP:
The Good Bishop is our outreach and partnership initiative, created to join forces with organizations that share our commitment to chess programs and community growth.
Through collaborative fundraising events, we work hand‑in‑hand with local groups, nonprofits, and supporters to host open friendly tournaments.
These partnerships allow us to expand our impact, raise essential resources, and bring the spirit of chess to even more communities in meaningful, sustainable ways.
THE STRONG SQUARE:
The Strong Square Program is our long‑term chess education initiative, created to bring structured, high‑quality chess instruction to schools and libraries through the generous sponsorship of community‑minded organizations.
This program serves as the foundation for a school or community’s chess club, offering formal, course‑style lessons that help students build strategic thinking, focus, and confidence over time.
By making chess accessible in a consistent, classroom‑like setting, the Strong Square Program strengthens learning communities and nurtures a lasting appreciation for the game.
BOWLING PROGRAMS
THE SCHOOL LANE PROJECT:
The School Lane Project is our collaborative bowling initiative designed to bring schools and districts together for a fun, half‑day fundraising tournament.
We partner with school staff, PTA members, and select high school students to create a lively, community‑building bowling event right in their local area.
More than just a competition, it aims strengthens school spirit, supports important causes, and introduces the joy of bowling in a welcoming, team‑focused atmosphere.
BOWLERS ED:
Bowlers Ed is an educational program developed by the United States Bowling Congress (USBC) to introduce students to the fundamentals of bowling in a fun, accessible way.
Through curriculum‑based lessons and portable equipment, Bowlers Ed helps schools teach bowling skills, teamwork, and physical activity in schools.
We proudly support and promote this USBC initiative as part of our mission to expand opportunities for students to experience the joy and lifelong benefits of the sport.
